Currently, I work in Billing, at a clinic, where I take payments for 3 surrounding facilities, resolve claim discrepancies, and assist patients on the phone, or in person, with any billing questions. I am certified as a Paraprofessional and Substitute Teacher, for the Bossier Parish School Board in Bossier City, Louisiana . I have over 205+ college credit hours, which include Health Information/Medical Coding, Political Science, and Education. I have many years of experience working in various industries with varying responsibilities including roles such as switchboard operator, legal secretary, Paraprofessional, billing, reception, data entry, and various Healthcare roles. Also, I have a Certificate of Completion, as of May 2021, for completing the December sessions online, through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), in 2022 Physician Coding for CPC Preparation and am presently pursing my CPC/CPB Certification.  I am interested in gaining related experience by working in a health care office position. I am up-to-date on current HIPPA Laws and Regulations and optimistic about career growth.
