Creative and business minded, I am the unique position of being able to combine my experience as a small business owner with over 20 years of experience in the customer service and performing arts industries. I am a dancer, teacher, choreographer, adjudicator, administrator, entrepreneur and a member of the Performing Arts Educators of Canada (P.A.E.C. - full Tap). I graduated from the Randolph Academy of the Performing Arts with a diploma in Musical Theatre and has trained under the B.A.T.D., C.D.T.A. and R.A.D. syllabi. Although I started down my path with the dream of performing I quickly learned that creating had a bigger pull. I am driven by my love of the arts and passion for dance. For many summers I had the opportunity to work with the charitable community arts organization, ArtHouse as a program co-ordinator, director and choreographer. The program provides a free performing arts camp to a select number of children in the Halton region. I have choreographed for various fundraisers, charity events and industrials including shows for Future Shop, Car Stars, Second City and Revlon. I've appeared in The Speigel Show (LuminaTO), Hypnotize (Jeffery Straker); I've worked with Creative Habitat (Siona Jackson), and Master Illusionist Brian Michaels; and I have had the honour of dancing with one of the great master tappers, Gregory Hines. The culmination of all this experience made my gears shift focus. I am a freelance choreographer and educator for both youth studios and professional schools across southern Ontario. As a dance educator I have put many students successfully through exams; prepared them for auditions; directed and produced their productions and my award winning choreography has afforded many of my students scholarships and professional opportunities.
