Collin County Moms (a DBA of Dallas Moms Blog LLC) is an online community resource written and read by local parents; with a passion for raising kids in our city and encouraging and connecting moms along the way. As the founder & small business owner, I managed and supervised a team of up to 10 contractors who worked remotely and developed a long-term strategy for monetizing an online website. Working with local and national businesses, Collin County Moms provided marketing opportunities to reach local parents directly through email distribution lists, social media channels, and local, in-person events.

Working with local and national businesses, Dallas Moms provided marketing opportunities to reach local parents directly through email distribution lists, social media channels, and local, in-person events.

During a teacher shortage, I answered the call to work at our local elementary school as a substitute teacher. I substituted/taught in grades PreK, 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th.

As Resource Coordinator, my role was to provide internal continuing education opportunities for license holders within City Moms Blog Network (now City Mom Collective). Responsibilities included creating digital content for a resource website based on the latest research, posting content to internal social media groups, developing graphics for content, researching and recruiting guest speakers on relevant topics, and assisting with national conferences as a guest speaker and other event responsibilities. I worked directly under the Director of Operations for City Mom Collective.

I served as Managing Editor for DallasMomsBlog.org (now dallas.momcollective.com). I oversaw the scheduling, organization, and editing of contributors' posts and sponsored posts.

Project Manager for a stationary and wedding invitation studio with responsibilities that included supervising part-time, full-time, and temporary staff, working directly with the owner on design and production, researching and ordering supplies for production, and reviewing completed projects before shipping. Other responsibilities included the execution of building out a booth at national conventions and shows and assisting the owner in promoting products during industry conventions.
