Regional Human Resources Manager
CurrentRegional HR Manager responsible for California, Texas and Illinois offices. • Partner with Leadership Team to drive the Human Resources functions to solid business results.• Participate in the development and implementation of departmental goals, company goals, and divisional goals as needed.• Understand the company’s employee engagement level and drive programs and practices to improveemployee engagement including teambuilding, engagement surveys, focus groups, etc• Assist all employees with the interpretation of company policies/procedures. Give guidance as needed.• Develop, supervise and/or present training and new employee orientation programs, ensuring propertraining records are kept.• Administration of wage programs, maintaining compliance with governmental wage and hour regulations, participation in job evaluation, and conducts local wage and salary surveys.• Administer company benefit programs including vacations, holidays, unemployment compensation, tuition reimbursement.• Conduct research into personnel programs and activities, and recommends changes or innovations where desirable.• Drive the performance management program.• Ensure that annual training is provided on mandatory topics required.• Coach and counsel managers and supervisors on Employee Relation issues.• Represent the company on any legal issues.• Participate in various customer, quality and regulatory HR audits.• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment laws and practices.• Support safety and help drive a proactive safety training program and maintain each location’s security and protection programs.• Direct employment activities, assuring that properly qualified employees are recruited and hired for open positions. Coordinate selection, promotion and placement of personnel.• Develop programs, policies, procedures and controls regarding employment, and analyzes manpower,turnover and other personnel statistics.
