As a Grassland Ecologist, I work closely with landowners to develop individualized habitat management plans that focus on the merging of ranching practices and priority grassland bird species to determine land management goals and ensure program compliance for Audubon’s Conservation Ranching program in Minnesota. Previously I worked with private landowners to protect the land they love as the Conservation Associate with Mississippi Valley Conservancy. In addition to working with landowners MVC works towards improving habitat through restoration and management, collaboration with other organizations for species conservation, and are dedicated to conservation outreach and education of all ages.Previously worked as a Farm Bill Biologist with Pheasants Forever, NRCS, and CPW. My position aimed to assist private landowners and producers in implementing higher conservation practices on their lands.Master's of Science in Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Ecology. Experience in wildlife research/management with a focus on habitat management effects on populations.I have been volunteering with The Wildlife Society for over a decade. I am the current secretary for the North Central Section and Board Member for the Wisconsin Chapter. I have also served as the Student Liaison to Council, am an alumni of the Leadership Institute, and recently designated Fellow.
