I am practicing music therapy in the city of Hamilton. Prior to working professionally I attended Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo and completely a 4 year Bachelors of Music Therapy program. In my fourth year I additionally completed a 1000 hour internship comprised of sections in the music therapy field. I primarily worked with verbal and non-verbal children with ASD and global development delay.I graduated university with honors and a minor in Psychology.I am currently working at the same location I interned, New Heights Learning Centre. There I have run several social groups including interactive groups, a rock band and two groups through Commusicate. Additionally, I also am providing adapted guitar and piano lessons. I am slowly growing and learning about being an entrepreneur. My professional dream is to own a business covering multiple therapies and an interdisciplinary team. Through this I believe we will be able to provide services to the majority of populations and work toward goals for many needs.
