SONAMI is a network of 7 post secondary institutions: Niagara College, Conestoga College, Lambton College, Fanshawe College, Mohawk College, Sheridan College and McMaster University and their respective advanced manufacturing and innovation centres which has been granted funding from FedDev Ontario until March 31, 2018. The funding supports applied research projects with industry partners from Southern Ontario. As Project Manager I:-Organize and deliver outreach activities for the network including events, meetings, publications, print/web material, and attendance at trade shows.-Develop new research projects in collaboration with partners including responding to industry inquiries; organizing SONAMI response to requests; qualifying research opportunities; and liaising with internal and external partners and FedDev.-Facilitate Industry Advisory Committee meetings with key industry, government and funding representatives.-Coordinate the communication and collaboration among seven institutional partners -Lead time and financial management of projects ensuring quality control under the network in collaboration with partners and report as required to funders, clients and partners.-Report project progress to Steering Committee.

Facilitate the implementation of the enhanced two-year BEd program accredited by the Ontario College of Teachers, as mandated by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. Project administration includes facilitating the following key areas: course development, software implementation, school board consultation, marketing and communication plan, project financials and design of new teacher candidate practical experience. Project reporting includes communications, reports and presentations to stakeholders. Also work to launch the Technological Teacher Education Program.
