With a Master’s in Climate Change and Sustainability Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, I’ve spent over 13 years helping businesses and communities align their goals with sustainability priorities.Currently, as Head of ESG Analytical at ICRA ESG Ratings, I lead rating operations, develop methodologies, and ensure process compliance, driving transparency and efficiency in ESG strategies. Previously, as AVP - ESG Strategy & Business Transformation, I played a key role in shaping group-level ESG strategies, driving product development, and aligning sustainability with business objectives.At Tata Consultancy Services, I led initiatives in carbon accounting, Net Zero strategy, and ESG reporting, while engaging stakeholders across the value chain to implement sustainability practices. My work also included designing training programs to embed sustainability across all levels of the organization.Earlier, at GIST Impact, I focused on assessing natural, human, and social capital impacts, delivering insights to global clients on aligning business operations with ESG standards. Working with Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment, I designed adaptation plans for Kerala’s Vembanad Lake ecosystem and implemented community-based conservation practices.My career began at HDFC Bank, where I developed strong problem-solving and leadership skills while managing operations with efficiency and speed. A subsequent role with an NGO on rural development projects provided valuable grassroots experience in community engagement.Throughout my journey, I’ve been known for my ability to solve problems quickly, deliver results under tight deadlines, and lead teams to achieve impactful outcomes. Whether crafting ESG strategies or designing grassroots climate solutions, I remain committed to making sustainability accessible, actionable, and effective.
