I am a self-taught IT professional with over 40 years of experience in the IT field starting at 13 as a systems administrator for our districts HP 2000 and 3000 Access systems and an Apple certified repair technician (board level). I started my networking experience in Amateur Radio with Packet Radio, TCPIP over radio in the early 80's. I have grown with the industry and now direct the IT / Facilities / Transportation department for a large Palm Beach County nonprofit as well as many other duties.Since 2006, in my present position, I designed, built, and updated from scratch the IT Infrastructure that now consists of a VM-Ware cluster of 3 Dell hosts running VSphere 6.5 with a 35Tb Compellent Hybrid array with 57 Guest servers including Windows servers and Linux appliances supporting 125+ users on site and remote with a 2016 host RDS Server farm consisting of 3 hosts including Exchange 2016, SQL, and many other applications. In my current position I have managed and mentored many very talented IT people who have grown into other positions and championed many cost saving innovations.I am also a hands on facilities director for 6 locations. This includes all facilities contracts and staff. I am responsible for proposing, designing, and managing all new construction and renovation projects at all of our facilities. I manage a fleet of 16 vehicles thru the federal 5310 Grant program including daily inspections and rigorous maintenance schedules, and FDOT grant applications. I manage all physical security upgrades, active threat training, security investigations and reporting, managing 6 DVR systems, and coordinating with other agencies as it relates to security issues.I have a history of using my extensive and wide range of experience to successfully keep a company moving forward.
