I have more than a decade of experience with data. I started out my career as an analyst working with real estate data, primarily focused on moving numbers around building a data warehouse. I also dipped my toes in regression and forecasting. My curiosity and sense of adventure (and my sweet tooth) got the best of me and I ended up starting my own confection business. I was able to wear many hats and got exposure and experience in all aspects of running a business. My analytical background continued to be a big part of my life and data analysis was an important part of the business - analyzing operating costs, forecasting sales, evaluating business performance, running and analyzing online advertising campaigns . After having satiated my sweet tooth I returned to the world of real estate in an investment and development focused arena. Again my analytical inclination proved to be invaluable when doing market research, performing investment analysis, monitoring, forecasting, evaluating construction projects, and asset management. I have continued to hone my analytical skills with new tools and techniques and am currently enrolled in the Springboard Data Analytics program to further deepen my knowledge of data analytics, SQL, Python, Tableau, presentations and data visualizations. I look forward to continue my adventure exploring new companies, industries and data to solve interesting problems and answer complicated questions.
