I like to narrate stories – I am keenly aware that I think and communicate in stories. When I seek to connect with people I inadvertently resort to narrating stories.I like to teach – my teaching ability comes as a natural extension of my stories telling capabilities. I first seek to learn something for myself - I am a kinesthetic learner. I do and I learn by narrating a story to myself. After I have formed a story, I seek to narrate it to anyone who is willing to listen.I like to wonder – I have lots of questions. About everything! If I don’t understand, I am not ashamed to seek answers and there is a lot I don’t understand. But hey, I am resolving them one question at a time, and it is not easy. Don’t we all know?I am persistent and I stick with my questions – I am comfortable with ambiguity as I understand that some questions don’t have ready or apparent answers. But I do not forget them. I patiently wait for the answers to emerge. Until then, I keep them on the backburner. Of course, I am human too. Sometimes I allow frustration to get the better of me, but I don’t let go of my questions.I can adapt - I am comfortable with ambiguity while at the same time ambiguity bothers me. This dichotomy helps me in being resilient and adapt to evolving situations. Are there IT projects without ambiguities and evolving situations?I seek to inspire – with my story telling and teaching abilities, I seek to inspire people around me to draw out a better version of ourselves."I have strong opinions but weakly held" – hats off to whoever said this. This is very true about me. I form very strong opinions, say Climate Change, Esoteric Finance, Gold Standard, Easy Money, Evolution – even when I am not qualified. However, I don’t cling to my opinions as dogma. I am happy for someone to engage me in a debate and convince me otherwise.Of course, I also moonlight as a Solution and Integration Architect with experience delivering analytical and data centric DSS solutions in the Retail Planning | Forecasting | Replenishment | Optimization space. I believe, that delivering such applications require a road-map that begins even before their actual implementation. I come with years of accumulated scars and a vivid awareness of compromised decisions. I am certainly embarrassed but unapologetic, about my mistakes.
