I graduated from Purdue University in May of 2021 with a degree in Brain and Behavioral Sciences and a minor in Critical Disability Studies. I am currently an Occupational Therapy Doctoral Student at Indiana University. While completing my undergraduate degree, I worked with individuals with disabilities as a Direct Support Professional at the Wabash Center in Lafayette, IN for three years. I was also involved in research at Purdue as a research assistant in a neurodevelopment and family studies lab. Throughout my time in the lab I had many different roles and gained knowledge in research development, dissemination, and project management.During my time in graduate school I had the opportunity to volunteer at IU's student outreach clinic, Skills on Wheels, and Camp Mariposa. I completed my Level IIA Fieldwork experience at Flanner House where I gained experience in screenings, community-based practice, and pediatrics.
