Governance by Meaning (GbM) is founded by WeShareTalent & YSE and has the ambition torejuvenate, renew and refresh supervision of organizations and the Boards of Directors. In this community, three target groups from four generations work together to improve and renew supervision. The goal of the community is twofold; developing future regulators/supervisors on the one hand and linking them to relevant supervisory boards on the other hand.

Leading a strategic change program called MET (Modern En Toekomstbestendig). The program was initiated to modernize the firm in a durable manner in order to ensure the continuity of the firm for years to come. The lead time and the ROI of the project were approximately 2,5 years. The main project benefits were: (Conservatively) Estimated 5% increase in margin10 % economization of Fte (which were re-used to invest in the new operations)Less complicated processes and a better controllable operation due to standardization, automation and digitalization Being able to facilitate future anticipated changes like organic organizational growth, strategic HRM projects, new IT-implementation projects etc.

Humanitas is one of the main social services and community building organisations of The Netherlands. Humanitas is a nonprofit association which aims to support people who, for a range of different reasons, can not manage on their own.Approximately once a month I supported people who were in need of a helping hand. For example, I mentored young people with behavioral problems, I helped elderly people doing groceries and I accompanied disabled peolpe to attend events such as local football matches and markets.

Veldhoven

The Simac Young Professional Program is an intensive two-year management traineeship focused to develop enthusiastic starters into business professionals at the intersection of Business & IT. The mission is: "Developing Future Leaders”. In this role I contributed the professionalization of the Simac-organization. The first year was mainly about analyzing and improving internal processes & IT-systems in the various business units. The second year I was appointed Manager Logistics at Simac Electronics. In this role I was asked to lead the Logistics Department from a merely supportive and administrative ordering function into a partner of the business.About 20% of the program (each Friday) was reserved for personal development. My aim of using this ‘personal time for development’ was to go through intensive training & coaching from multiple professionals and truly invest effort to grow from an enthusiastic starter into a leader of the future.

YSE develops Young Professionals by powering traineeships. The variation in work and work environments combined with a high level of responsibility, coaching and guidance from experienced talentmanagers, ensure that the YSE Young Professionals develop from ambitious starters to experienced professionals.YSE is unique in its kind, because the Young Professionals spend 20% of their time (= one day a week) on personal development by means of training, coaching, people management and guidance on assignments.

Using a number of business units, the Verstraaten group provides individual, collective and commercial transport of passengers. They are also professionals in transporting packages of all sorts and in all sizes in a fast, safe and conditioned manner. As a planner within the Verstraaten Group, my main responsibility was to take charge over all daily planning processes, acting as a functional leader within the various business untis.
