I am a freelance writer and researcher, and an English tutor for all ages, with more than 25 years of experience in journalism and education. I create engaging and informative content on various topics, such as literature, child welfare, wellness, and historical research, for different platforms and audiences, including magazines, lesson plans, and online articles. I also teach and coach students and adults in writing, reading, and literacy skills, helping them improve their communication and academic performance.Previously, I worked as an ELA and literacy specialist at the Indiana Department of Education, where I supported the work of high school and middle school teachers and administrators in assessment, curriculum, and literacy reform.
