About Katherine Spinney, Pcc, Mt, Msw

I got my first paying job in fifth grade delivering the Boston Globe to 33 houses in my tiny hometown. After that, I worked in several positions from pizza delivery driver to nonprofit executive. My jobs have taken me from rural Madison County, Virginia to inner-city D.C. to a seaside naval town in South Korea. I have worked for a variety of supervisors in a variety of sectors and have been a supervisor myself for over a decade. Throughout all the different jobs in all the different fields in all the different cities across the world, the story has been the same- great leaders make for great working environments; poor leaders do not. I have made it my life's goal to help leaders and their staffs work together more effectively in a way that is fulfilling, productive and enjoyable using my trademarked model, Lead With Your MIND (Mindset-Investment-Necessary Skills-Desire). Work can and should be a place where we learn and grow while doing what we do best to contribute to our own vision of the greater good. I am looking to connect with people who share this vision. Lead on, my friends!
