Direct all aspects of SMFM's online clinical and nonclinical educational activities including webinars, online courses, podcasts, question banks, and interactive tools for members and nonmembers. Create and maintain budgets for both educational programs; engage and work with freelance writers, illustrators, and educational experts to procure high-quality content; and conduct regular assessments of content to ensure accuracy and currently. Perform ongoing analysis of LMS user survey data to effect and manage programming change.

Staffed two committees and participated in a COVID-19 task force that provided clinical guidelines and patient education throughout the pandemic.

I managed and directed all activities associated with writing, editing, and producing print and online patient education materials on topics related to obstetrics and gynecology, including 135 pamphlets, 135 web-based “Frequently Asked Questions,” booklets, fact sheets, office display materials, and infographics. I also oversaw the development and publication of the College's flagship pregnancy book, Your Pregnancy and Childbirth: Month to Month. In this position, I managed and developed basic science and clinical medical textbooks to ensure scientific accuracy and competitiveness in the medical textbook market. Areas of concentration included anatomy, physiology, microbiology, immunology, behavioral science, neuroscience, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and general surgery. My responsibilities included management of initial planning meetings with authors; establishing and maintaining manuscript submission schedules; management of art programs; development of ancillary materials including electronic test banks, animations, and online case studies; and collaborating with the design department to ensure a functional book design. In addition, I applied principles of developmental editing to align projects with market expectations and customer needs.
