Ksenia Stepanova is a professional with over eight years of experience in communication management and event organisation in the cultural sphere. For the three last years, she has been developing he own projects in Germany and now in Senegal with great attention to online presence. Previously Ksenia has worked at the leading UK‘s art fair, curated a number of exhibitions, and co-founded and ran a talent agency in Germany, supporting the growth of emerging visual artists. Recently, Ksenia has relocated to Senegal where she is co-running an educational project Wëndélu Independent Art Space (WIAS) - professional and artistic training for visual artists in West Africa. Ksenia has always been passionate about art. After accomplishing a bachelor's and master's degree in Journalism at MSU, Moscow, she studied History of Contemporary art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London, and at Chelsea College of Arts, London (MA Curating and Collections) to be competent in business, communication and creative spheres of the art market. Seeing a missing step that would ease the transition from emerging to established artists in 2019 Ksenia launched a talent agency Artyque with a mission to guide selected artists’ careers and ensure their growth and increase the value of their works in an organic and steady way. In 2021, Ksenia relocated to Dakar and co-created Wëndélu Independent Art Space (WIAS) - a platform aiming to facilitate access for emerging artists based in Senegal to free knowledge, career development and information about the art industry in order to support the access to new professional opportunities.Among the latest projects, Ksenia Stepanova has participated in was the creative direction in website creation for ONG Tostan; the organisation of the cultural entertainment for the launch of the 2022 State of the World's Volunteerism Report by PNUD at the museum of Black Civilisations.
