The alignments DMC and DMB are mainly in open desert that has future developments planned. The JBL line connects the DMB/DMC alignments with Jebel Ali port. The Stage 2C which extends through Dubai and connects stages B and D. The network is 98km long and comprises of mainly at grade rail network with numerous highway crossings.The scope of works includes all the rail network along with associated earthworks, bridges, roads, utility diversions, environmental and geotechnical aspects.
