The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast (BGCCOC) - a new name and an expanded footprint. With the merger between the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana and the Boys & Girls Club of the Harbor Area we not only serve more youth and more cities, but with stronger programs and leadership. • Facilitated strategic planning and development of post-merger fundraising strategy, in coordination with Chief Philanthropy Officer, which enabled revenue growth from $1.7 to $4.3 million in 3 years. • Designed and managed a comprehensive annual giving platform and stewardship program which resulted in a more than 20% improvement in donor retention, reengaged lapsed donors, and upgraded existing donors.• Built strategic partnerships with local and multinationals in the private sector based off of a customizable corporate engagement framework, which grew corporate giving and strategic partnerships by more than 200%, allowing for flexibility to meet the unique needs of partners.• Developed and oversaw a new fundraising and marketing communications strategy, leveraging a new regional identity - resulting from a recent merger between two autonomous Boys & Girls Clubs – while still maintaining the unique local community identities.

While working with the Renewable Energy Foundation, I assisted with research and analysis on a project in collaboration with Calor Gas Limited to examine the direct and indirect costs borne by British domestic consumers as a consequence of the Department of Energy and Climate Change’s renewable energy policies and energy efficiency schemes, and the EU Energy Efficiency directives. I also assisted with research and analysis of energy price and consumer behavior trends in contribution to the foundations study titled Energy Policy and Consumer hardship in collaboration with National Energy Action and ScottishPower.

As the Philanthropy Chair of the UC San Diego chapter I organized all philanthropic involvement, including fundraising and volunteer activities, culminating in an annual fundraising event supporting victims of domestic violence.

In my role at DPPM I coordinated the logistics of managing projects domestically and abroad, including but not limited to: visa requirements, licensing, insurance, business registration, local laws and practices. I was charged with securing build and rebuild permits from city government officials, identifying time frame for approval and inspections, as well as performing cross-city analysis of these variables so that project managers in conjunction with clients had the necessary information to select locations for new projects. Over the course of my employment I helped coordinate projects in the United States, Canada, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.

As a volunteer I assisted Arabic speaking refugees gain English proficiency, locate housing and furnishings, find and prepare for jobs, translate documents and complete forms, as well as understand their amnesty rights and access to benefits.
