PATT Encourages, Inspires, and Motivates students to realize their full potential through exposure to opportunities and information, educational enrichment, and expanding relationships.> Responsibilities have included but are not limited to coordinating and executing college tours and college fairs for families, community organizations, high school students, religious institutions, and school districts. Aspects of coordination include budgeting, financial management, fundraising, lodging assignments, meeting planning, recreation facilitation, resource allocation and procurement, scheduling, and transportation logistics. Relationships have been developed and maintained with college and university orientation offices, department chairs, faculty and program representatives, financial aid officers, professors, student government association leaders, career and education counselors, parents, guardians, mentors, and chaperones. Safety and welfare briefings have been administered and conducted and regulations IAW local, regional, and national standards have been adhered to.• Over 1500 students have been served since 2000.• Fund and friend raised, and managed over $800k in community funding since 2000.• Coordinated and executed three cultural and educational tours outside of the continental United States; one two week visit to Kenya, East Africa with college teaching fellows, college staff and administrators, and community servants, one twelve day visit to Kenya, East Africa guiding an American high school drama department, and one three week visit to China with American middle and high school students.• An excess of 100 volunteers have been recruited, trained, and employed since 2000.• PATT provides tips that help students become more attractive candidates for college and the corporate world.
