PhD Candidate in the lab of Dr. Todd Miller. Projects involve the following components of breast cancer precision medicine:1. Discovery of novel mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapeutics in cancer, especially those related to the tumor microenvironment.2. Discovery of novel biomarkers of response/resistance to clinically available anti-cancer therapeutics.3. Using bioinformatics approaches to uncover novel therapeutic opportunities in cancer.

Studied sensitivity of pancreatic cancer cells to novel curcumin analogs, including HO-3867.

Studied therapeutic sensitivity to Rac GTPase inhibition in ER+ breast cancer.

A Research Associate in the Lab of Dr. Todd Golub, MD. Developed and performed a wide range of cancer research experiments, including a systematic investigation of the role of the microenvironment on cancer cell innate resistance or sensitivity to chemotherapeutics and an investigation of synergistic phenotypes between pro-apoptotic cytokines and chemotherapeutics.

Provided a direct link between Harvard students and Microsoft Corporation, providing information and access to Microsoft technologies. Designed and executed marketing projects and campaigns.

Developed and performed experiments to identify and characterize the effects of large and small molecule modulators of the Wnt/Beta-catenin pathway.

Created a synthetic biology project of my own design, attempting to measure the dynamics of two different systems of repression, KRAB and PcG, using real time fluorescence microscopy.

Worked on a synthetic mammalian gene circuit in U20S osteosarcoma cells, which responds to DNA damage by turning on a positive feedback loop.

Worked with the Digital Office Strategic Planning group to conduct market research make recommendations based on this research for what would be important in the future (3-5 years in the future). In addition, I worked with a particular form of technology called Intel AMT, and assisted in redesigning the framework of the technology to fit small and medium businesses.
