My passion has always been plants and the environment. Every choice I have made in my career has been related to this passion. I remember being fascinated by the Life on Earth series by David Attenborough, Iearned to garden from my family and was an avid 4-H member. I went on to get a Master's in Botany and Plant Ecology in graduate school. After working as an environmental scientist for many years, I went back to school to get another Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture so I could also design spaces with native plants rather than just study them in the field. I started my own company after becoming licensed so I can combine my passions for design and the natural environment.
