Launched in March 2014, Market Width is about MICE sector, Industry Events and Industry Associations. It provides news and articles on the MICE sector; Event News; Industry News and Review Reports; upcoming Industry Events; and list of Industry Associations.Since about August 2013 when I conceptualized Market Width, I have been working on developing the website and its content. I am involved in design and development of website, database creation and content writing.

I conducted an IMRB/BIRD-IIT Delhi project, of two months, which was for National Informatics Centre (NIC), Government of India, and was about evaluating the compliances of various government websites according to various parameters defined by NIC and IIT-D. I was being placed at IIT-D as a Team Leader of a team of about 13 IT recruits. Key Deliverables: Task management & planning; Team handling; and Coordination at various levels.

PKS was established with the primary business objective of providing foreign language proficient candidates to corporate. My key deliverable was to establish the recruitment business which mainly included, finding clients and sources for candidates, establish the whole process of screening and recruitment, and to further expand the business.I established the whole process, successfully delivering and completing the first project of PKS with our client.

Progressive Media Group is a leading generic business research organization, providing company and industry reports to multiple clients via online databases as well as published research. As an analyst, I was responsible for researching and publishing company research reports on consumer products, retail, travel and tourism, and aerospace and defense industries. This involved SWOT analysis, financial and ratio analysis, industry monitoring and environment analysis, data collection and analysis. As a senior member I was also responsible for mentoring of junior team members including training, quality check and time control.My key achievements in this role were:• Member of a team for the development of a company profiling reference and guideline framework, and• Proposed and implemented sector-wise segregation of consumer products companies including assignment to team members, for cost savings and quality improvement.

Koncept was formed in 2007 to create and market specialized research in the corporate and economic sectors. I joined the firm as a research analyst, and was promoted to a senior research analyst after a year, managing a team of four junior research analysts (JRFs).My primary role as a research analyst was to create niche reports and company profiles across various industries, involving SWOT, PESTEL and PORTER’s 5 forces analysis. My key achievements were:• Research on and publication of research on the insurance industry in Europe,• Recognized for the best quality and most saleable reports,• Awarded Star Analyst twice, in 2008 and 2009, and• Implemented efficiencies and time management processes regarding report preparation.

As a research analyst, I was responsible for the tracking and analysis of quarterly results of Indian IT companies, including the monthly tracking of major deals and contracts. I independently handled all data collection for the projects, and worked directly with client.

I joined D&B as a researcher and was promoted to senior correspondent. In this position, I managed a 3-member team covering the North India region. My responsibilities included:• Generating business information reports on Indian companies,• Preparing financial reports on Indian firms as per D&B templates, and• Managing support functions for all credit rating projects for North India, including coordination with the client and D&B’s sales team.

I handled the subscriptions department of Images as in-charge of the subscription database along with handling monthly magazine dispatches and communication with subscribers.I was also coordinating with the marketing department for providing inputs for target marketing and marketing offers.I also managed the database of invitees of Images annual Fashion awards event.

I worked on a study on the “Best Cities to Live In” published in the 15th April, 2003 issue of Outlook Money, independently handling all data collection and compilation using internet, public library, online databases, and also visiting ministries and associations.

As a content development executive, my KRAs were: • To maintain regular data sources for the various databases and publications of CMIE and ensure regular flow of data• Research the gaps in current data find appropriate sources for the same• Tracking data releases from ministries, departments, industry and trade associations, and other institutions and meeting with officials therein to find new dataMy accomplishments included: • Independent handling of the primary projects for the NCR region• Renewal of dead data sources and introduction of new ones for the publications.
