Contributed to the design and certification of the doors for the HA-420. Worked on the Main Entry Door, Emergency Exit, Forward Baggage Door, Aft Baggage Door, Speed Brakes, Landing Gear Doors and service doors.

Design Engineer assigned to the G650. Accomplishments include the design of the main and hot fuel return lines, the APU air inlet and the APU installation from preliminary layout through CDR.

Systems Engineer - Tasks included system design, certification test plans and substantiation reports. Projects included the anti-ice system (heated inlets, bleed air ducting, wing thermal anti-ice, wing to slat flexible duct, duct overheat detection and anti-ice fault detection), avionics cooling (forced ventilation), environmental control system ducting and substantiation of aircraft exits for ditching.

Senior Design Engineer - Designed the entry doors and airstair for a VIP derivative of the S-92. Work included the folding handrails, hinges, latches, dampners, seals, composite doors, door surround and ergonomics. Contributed to the preliminary layout of the CH-53K landing gear.

Aircraft Designer - ECS group. Designed the air conditioning installation for the Safire Jet. Tasks included the design of an auxiliary door mechanism, the design and optimization of ducting and the installation of system components. Designerd the windshield defrost installation. Contributed to the design of the cabin pressurization system and hot air ducting.

Design, test and certification tasks included: modifications to a fuel system for low temperature operations, the addition of an engine fuel purge system, high temperature gasket design and pitot/static system changes required for glass cockpit implementation, cabin heat improvements, establishment of fleet corosion resistance requirements and seat/cabinetry improvements (redesigned seat to extend leg room, improve ergonomnics and update style). Designed/redesigned and participated in the certification of numerious components/installations including: oil coolers, fuel systems, fuel servos, fuel pumps, cabin heaters (heat muff and combustion), air conditioning, pitot static system, landing gear, hydraulic systems, vacuum systems, test instrumentation and flight instruments. Provided engineering support to accident/incident investigations. Planned, participated and served as flight test engineer for serveral tasks modifications including the cold weather evaluation of products.

Lead Mechanical Engineer for the Orbital Carrier Aircraft (a Lockheed L-1011 modified to serve as the mothership for the Pegasus Launch Vehicle.) Conducted the design, test, operation and analysis of various aircraft modifications in support of the rocket including work on mechanical mechanims, fairings, high pressure nitrogen systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, conditioned air, instrumentation, changes to onboard electrical racks and an airborne hydrogen cryostat safety vent. Obtained FAA approval for mechanical modifications to the carrier aircraft. Served as a member of the launch team for numerous Pegasus space launch operations. Participated in mate/de-mate ground handling operations with the Pegasus Launch Vehicle and the X-34 test vehicle. Served as lead L-1011 Mechanical Engineer for the X-34 carrier aircraft certification flight test program.

Worked on the Model 390 (Premier I) business jet. Designed the Rudder, Elevator and Dorsal Fin.
