Provided engineering support to accident/incident investigations. Planned, participated and served as flight test engineer for serveral tasks modifications including the cold weather evaluation of products.

Lead Mechanical Engineer for the Orbital Carrier Aircraft (a Lockheed L-1011 modified to serve as the mothership for the Pegasus Launch Vehicle.) Conducted the design, test, operation and analysis of various aircraft modifications in support of the rocket including work on mechanical mechanims, fairings, high pressure nitrogen systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, conditioned air, instrumentation, changes to onboard electrical racks and an airborne hydrogen cryostat safety vent. Obtained FAA approval for mechanical modifications to the carrier aircraft. Served as a member of the launch team for numerous Pegasus space launch operations. Participated in mate/de-mate ground handling operations with the Pegasus Launch Vehicle and the X-34 test vehicle. Served as lead L-1011 Mechanical Engineer for the X-34 carrier aircraft certification flight test program.
