A committed and highly experienced temporary traffic management consultant I have been working in the highways and traffic management industry for more than 16 years. I have tendered, designed, managed and controlled large public events, major schemes and contracts including many of the UK's major contractors and local highway authorities nationwide with significant experience and expertise in London. I was Transport for London's key traffic management specialist providing expertise to improve traffic management safety and guidance on the Transport for London Road Network, with a particular focus on improving TM standards for cyclists and other vulnerable road users. I created the TfL Traffic Management Handbook.I am highly experienced in TM design, strategy and operations and work with several major highways/infrastructure clients and event organisers to scope, design and supply traffic management services. My company Tiger Highways is a traffic management consultancy and services supplier, supplying traffic management services & support to large and small businesses primarily in the way of scheme design, consultancy, technical CAD drawings, and onsite operations.Away from work and for the last 33 years, I have played and competed in the UK and Europe in underwater hockey for St. Albans and I am a GB Masters trialist. I am a bodyboarder and have travelled all over Europe and beyond in search of clean surf and I'm also a cyclist with the historic Victoria Cycling Club.
