• Review financial reports and documents from the field offices and insure that they are timely received• Provide training and support to finance and non-finance staff regarding generally accepted financial procedures and SFCG internal controls• Participate in and facilitate country finance workshops and training as required• Maintain open communication with Finance, program staff and others for all financial clarifications• Review financial reports before submitting it to the donor• Review operational budgets of the countries, region as well as proposals• Conduct monthly internal diagnostic audit and recommend action plan each month • Forecast annual revenue, track losses and manage grant tracker• Work with Regional Team in planning and monitoring grants of each country• Startup and closeout of the projects• Guide regional offices in sub-award management• Support regional offices during donor audit • Ensure smooth fund flow• Orient and update regional office on financial policies and procedures• Temporarily assume the position of the Country Finance Manager/ Finance Coordinator until a permanent replacement can be identified and trained and fill in the gap where Country finance staff is on leave.• Support the Country Finance staff in day to day reconciliations and financial analysis• Provide support in timely monthly closing and ensuring Country Offices are able to close on agreed upon deadlines• Work closely with logistic department to insure that asset register is updated regularly an match physical assets
