I am an analytical chemist with two years of professional experience in national reference laboratories. My job includes method development and verification for varies matrices and analytes. During work on my doctoral thesis, I was able to show versatility and initiative, resulting in four peer-reviewed publications.Skills: GC-MS/MS, ICP-MS, R, Knime, Microsoft Office, fluent in German, English and French, adaptability and quick learningSome examples of my work include:• skin penetration research of metal allergens and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. The analysis included methods like GC-MS/MS and ICP-MS in a challenging matrix. This lead to two first authorships in peer reviewed publications.• successful histological study of the skin as a chemist. I was able to show adaptability to an unfamiliar method, leading to a journal publication (first author).• independent method implementation: validation of an ICP-MS method for the detection of heavy metals in fish. The project included the instruction of lab-assistants, were I was able to show leadership skills.I want to help businesses solve analytical challenges by applying my curiosity and knowledge.
