I was an investigative intern at the New England Center for Investigative Reporting centered at WGBH. I focused on researching legal documents, government data, political data and research on individuals. I also conducted interviews, pitch and wrote my own stories, as well as assisted other reporters with their stories in print and in radio. Finally, I helped the data visualization and digital teams at WGBH. In the summer of 2017, I worked with NECIR as the Program Coordinator for their high school journalism program.

Every week I wrote for the paper’snational edition about “data you can’t miss” or a section asking provoking questionsabout the published pieces. I practiced solutions journalism and focused on a faith and family angle.
