Responsible for North American licensing program, centered on sleep accessories. Led strategic and operational priorities. Also oversaw the company’s sourced accessories program in 2021 and 2022.

In this dual role, I managed business development for North America and Latin America and the global end-to-end licensing process for all Energizer brands – Energizer, Eveready, Dolphin, Rayovac, Armor All, STP, Refresh Your Car, California Scents, Lexol, Eagle One, and NuFinish. My areas of responsibility included strategy, planning, go-to-market collateral, style guides, and product development. I proposed new product categories and owned revenue forecasting, annual business planning, and budgeting (including licensing P&L). As the champion of creative and licensing, I handled agency relationships and led the cross-functional licensing team (legal, trade marketing, finance, accounting, and product integrity teams).Key Contributions: + Negotiated business deals worth millions in revenue and boosted global retail sales by 12%. + Spearheaded development of brand guidelines and design language systems for multiple brands. + Overhauled the Energizer brand identity and doubled licensed products featuring the Energizer Bunny. + Researched and presented key data that led to average royalty rate increases of 2.5 for Energizer brand. + Grew the number of Energizer/Eveready licensees from 19 to 32 with M&A of Rayovac/STP/Armor All in 2019 and played significant role in the merger transition.

In this role, I quickly progressed in my responsibilities. My main focus was improving the approvals process for licensing agreements for Energizer, Dolphin, and Eveready brands. I initiated and executed modified category expansion reviews in conjunction with senior leadership. In this role, I really broke into business development - prospecting for for new business, improved business acumen, and became an SME in product categories and licensing. Key Contributions: + Improved product time-to-market through a refined approvals process, which reduced average approval times by 40%. + Armed marketing team with data and strategy research support to grow licensees by nearly 60%.

In this role, I guided product development for the portable power division, led creative and supply chain teams for global brand packaging development, designated brand guidelines and design language system for the portable power business unit, and coordinated tradeshow displays and product presentations for line reviews with key customers including Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Carrefour, Woolworths, etc. I also played a key role in ensuring packaging, advertising, and marketing collateral global compliance guidelines. Key Contributions: + Led the development of more than 10 new portable power products and collaborated with Apple on MiFi program.+ Improved company’s stage-gate process and overall quality and brand recognition in the portable power space.

In this role, I specialized in developing branding strategies, creative and digital campaigns, and packaging for North American brands with specific focus on KILZ Casual Colors (Walmart premier line 2003-2011). I served as the brand lead on Lowe’s retail relationship. I also facilitated line review presentations for key customers including Lowe’s, Walmart, Canadian Tire, Rona/Reno Depot, The Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Westlake, and Orchard Supply. Key Contributions: + Devised shopper marketing strategies and materials for major US and Canadian retailers, including Walmart, Lowe’s, Canadian Tire, and Rona. + Co-led development of company’s first professional paint lines – KILZ Pro-X and KILZ CoverPro. + Grew top-line revenue through product development, business relationships, and marketing strategies for seven KILZ product lines.
