Photographing a variety of sports, cultural, and student-life events around NC State’s campus. Assignments involve capturing, uploading, editing, and captioning photos to be published to NC State’s different student media sites. Maintaining strong photography ethics while developing a deeper understanding of camera techniques, lighting, composition, and photography skills.

Attended three correspondency training sessions; captioning and copy editing for photographers, introduction to photojournalism, and reporting in diverse communities. Shadowed experienced Student Media photographers and completed several independent assignments for news and sports events around campus.

Greeting and seating guests in a welcoming manner. Being detail oriented while taking orders, addressing guest needs and concerns in an efficient and friendly way, and communicating with coworkers to maintain the highest standard of service and upkeep of the restaurant. Requires strong organization, time management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Meeting and brainstorming with other digital team members, designing graphics and taking photos for social media, and contributing to an organized posting schedule. Specifically working on tasks related to Instagram and website design, but also involved in discussions related to planning Platform’s podcast, Tik Tok, and promotional strategies.
