Alghanim Industries is a multi-billion dollar conglomerate with more than 30 businesses and operations in 40 countries. It hosts a portfolio of businesses ranging from Automotive, Engineered Products, Retail, Pre-engineered Steel Buildings (PEB), Insulation, Oil & Gas, Supply Chain and Trading among others. I joined the Group in July 2006, as Vice President – HR, Kirby Building Systems India. Promoted in 2007, as HR Director, Kirby Global and moved to Kuwait. In January 2009, appointed as the first Corporate HR Director for Alghanim Industries and subsequently promoted in April 2010, as HR Director for the Industrial Group globally. In 2014 took over the HR functions of Engineered Products, Oil & Gas, Supply Chain businesses in addition to those in Industrial Group. From 2016 have been heading the HR Process Excellence function to fulfill the objective of taking all the HR Processes to world class standards and fully automating them.• As member of senior council, actively involved in group HR strategy and counsel• Played a lead role in setting up new units in India, UAE, KSA and Vietnam, taking into account the organisational needs for green field operations, cultural diversity and differing labour laws• Set up compensation structures in line with local pay patterns to attract and retain the best talent in those countries• Negotiated crucial wage settlements, with the unions in Indian factories; in order to keep our wage bill within budget and thereby retaining our market leadership• Played a key role in shaping Alghanim's HR organisation into one of the finest in the region; Alghanim Industries received Hewitt’s Best Employer award in the Middle East region for 2009 and Best Employer Brand in Asia award from World HRD Congress, for the people initiatives in our India and SEA operations

It is an affiliate of ConAgra Foods Inc. of USA, one the world’s largest food companies.• As member of the Management Committee, brought in fresh perspective of developing internal talent to take up key roles in handling new brands and product categories • Worked extensively on compensation and performance management to minimize attrition of talent as the business was very competitive and growing; Introduced 9 box talent reviews as part of development and succession planning in the organisation• Introduced product oriented summer internships that eventually led to the creating one of the popular sub-brands (Sundrop Heart) in India operations• Pioneered a CSR initiative in the company through “Feeding Children Better” programme, which eventually became a novel scheme adopted by the Government of AP, India

Have been overseeing the acquisition of Seagram India as an executive from Pernod Ricard and subsequently appointed as the Managing Director on the Board. Have presided over merging of both the legal entities and headed the India business while doing so.

A French multi-national in alcoholic beverage business, Pernod Ricard is the world co-leader of the Wines & Spirits industry and number one in the Premium segment, with operations spread across the globe.As an Executive Council member influenced major policy decisions both in HR and business; in recognition, was consulted on HR issues for Asia region• Breaking away from the industry norm that sales personnel in liquor business have to be only from similar industry, brought in talent from allied businesses, making Pernod Ricard India break into competition’s strong-holds• Concluded critical settlements with the factory unions in Western India, paving way for hiring qualified blue-collar manpower with fresh skill sets• When the company acquired part of the Seagram businesses worldwide, appointed as the Acquisition Director for India responsible for due diligence• Appointed as Acting Managing Director of the Pernod Ricard India in April 2001; played a key part in transitioning the management to a post- amalgamated structure and helped build the new organisation in the South Asia region
