What I did for the start-ups I worked with is I created their finance function from scratch. I implemented accounting (negotiated SLA with 3rd party accounting office), controlling and reporting procedures. I recruited and developed in-house finance and accounting teams. I have experience in cooperation with different types of investors - from private owners and business angels to international venture capital players and venture builders. I was employed by VCs as CFO and board member of their portfolio companies. I've built relationships with their teams, I know most of reporting schemes they use and questions they ask id due diligence processes. My expertise covers a number of sectors including: fintech, lend tech, online marketplaces and grocery, q-commerce, e-commerce, financial B2B services, online lead generators, SaaS, loyalty and many more. I have financial audit and due diligence background. My professional career started over 15 years ago in Big4 audit companies, where I learned all the basics of accounting and reporting.
