Stephen Snider is a sustainable finance practitioner and Caribbean environmental advocate. He is from Jamaica where he grew up before coming to the USA for college and work. He has spent over 10 years working in corporate finance, asset management, and treasury roles. Seeking a more impactful career, Stephen went back to school and completed a master's in sustainable development at Harvard University. Stephen now works for sustainable finance and impact investing startups both in Boston and in Jamaica. Stephen currently works for NEIII (a Boston-based NGO) and oikos International (a European-based NGO) and with them develops sustainable finance programming for corporate partners, young professionals, and students. Stephen’s is committed to a sustainable planet and has an extensive network within the impact investing space (in the US and Europe). He will help shape the next iteration of NEIII’s Impact Investing Fellowship Program. At oikos International, Stephen has developed a Sustainable Finance "Toolkit" for practitioners in the space.Stephen is an effective communicator. He is an analytical, empathetic, and strategic leader, skilled in providing actionable plans and in driving results in a fast-paced working environment.
