I'm a Graphic Design student with an Associate's degree in Applied Art & Science whois currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree.I had an intense passion for drawing, coloring, and painting throughout my childhood.However, it was my love for music that sparked my interest in graphic design during myearly teen years. Merchandise design was the first to catch my eye back then, as Ienjoyed designing and making my own concert apparel. Experimenting with fabricpaint, dyes, and other mixed media materials such as rhinestones and patches, I handpaintedand crafted T-Shirts to represent my favorite bands.Eventually, my interest in album cover art design grew with popular artist releases suchas Maroon 5 - Overexposed, One Direction - Midnight Memories, Miley Cyrus -Bangerz, and Lady Gaga - Artpop. With the rise of unique album packaging and thevinyl record comeback, my love for cover art has peaked. Today, I'm an avid collectorof music albums, tour t-shirts, posters, and other types of memorabilia.My passion for music has motivated me to research and study areas of design such asbut not limited to; illustration (traditional and digital), print design, screen printing,layouts using grid and hierarchy, typography, promotional design, logo design, andbranding.
