Applied operations management principles by replacing syringes with a micropipette for testing of reaction rate data, eliminating the need to clean syringes after every trial, and gaining an extra 15 minutes of testing time for every hour in the lab.Our car placed 5th out of 23 cars at the 2018 AIChE Southern Regional Chem-E-Car competition and progressed to compete at the national level in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the first time in 16 years.
