1- Power Distribution system studies for the complete WNPOC system (Central Power Plant, CPF, Thar Jath FSF, Mala FSF and Mala Satellite fields) have been carried out. Complete Database has been collected and WNPOC-system computer model has been created, which enables conducting various studies. Load Flow Studies and Short Circuit Studies have been conducted on WNPOC system using ETAP 6.5 Software. Protection studies have been carried out on WNPOC Electrical system. Necessary inputs pertaining to the system data and the relay settings have been collected from the single line diagrams and the field. WNPOC system network has been simulated using ETAP 6.5 software and fault levels at various locations and switch boards have been computed. Relay data base has been made for the complete WNPOC system. Co-ordination curves are produced for each sub system including the switch boards as well as Ring Main Units (RMU). Recommendations are made highlighting the locations/relays where changes are required. Also suggestions have been provided to bring in necessary improvements in the drawings/documentation to facilitate proper co-ordination. A unique numbering system has been developed for the identification of circuits and their associated relay. Relay setting schedules and co-ordination charts have been prepared. The final presentation of the co-ordination curves along with the single line diagram of the sub system has been made in line with the ERD requirements. 2- Supervises and directs the safe operations of all rotating equipment and auxiliaries, power generation equipment, synchronization equipment, switchgears, circuit breakers and transformers. Ensures that electricity generation and power distribution are carried out safely
