Kristen has over a fifteen years of experience in institutional and commercial work from green house and farm to academic and multi-family housing. She began her career in historic preservation to extend and revive the life of existing buildings as part of the historic and sustainable fabric of our communities. In subsequent work with adaptive re-use, new construction, and renovation, Kristen has integrated this expertise of time-tested building techniques with contemporary sustainability strategies. Alongside her architectural project management, Kristen applies her experience with historic and passive house building envelopes to Building Enclosure Commissioning.In addition to her project work and facilitating Re:Vision’s Architecture Studio, Kristen leads Re:Vision’s Diversity, Equity, and Anti-racism initiative. This effort exists at the intersection of her work in the built environment and her passion for community engagement at the grass-roots level, stemming from her motivation to create thoughtful, humane spaces that serve current needs while preserving resources for future generations.
