As the CEO of the Pakistan Environment Trust, I had the privilege of leading a dedicated team in establishing Pakistan’s premier climate action institution. Together, we expanded the Net Zero Pakistan coalition to encompass over 20 companies, culminating in global recognition as part of the UNFCCC’s Race to Zero Campaign.In the realm of carbon markets, our team has developed strategies that not only bolster environmental efforts but also yield significant financial returns. By collaboratively creating a portfolio of carbon reduction projects, we’ve unlocked new revenue opportunities for Pakistan in the global carbon market. This initiative underscores our collective commitment to solutions that benefit both the planet and the economy.My tenure at McKinsey & Co was instrumental in providing valuable insights into venture capital and infrastructure development. This, combined with my academic experiences at CEIBS and London Business School, has enriched my understanding of global markets.
