Oversee complete P&L & Operations for the Engineering and Projects Division that executes Indian and International EPC projects across diverse sectors like Oil & Gas, Electricity, Steel, Agro Processing and Irrigation across Middle East, Africa and Central America. Key responsibilities include sales leadership and management, project management, execution within stated deadlines, statutory compliances, budget formulation and implementation as well as quality of technical support across India and international locations. Rated “Excellent Contributor” by the Management.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS► International Experience – Worked with highest officials in respective countries including President, Prime Minister, Ministers, and Managing Directors/CEO of various Organizations. ► Improved order book substantially. Opened up new international markets targeting reasonably profitable segments, despite intense competition.► Made successful inroads into the Indian and Nepalese markets for Transmission Line under intense competition from leading players► Initiated drinking water pipeline project (first in this sector) and secured contract. ► Implemented several ISO grade certifications for the Division – ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.► Led Vendor Development and Management across China, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, EU, Israel, etc.

One of the two key personnel responsible for developing and expanding the company’s business network. Led direct control of all Operations including commercial, contracting, techno-commercial negotiations, engineering, personnel hiring and deployment. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS► Spearheaded International EPC business expansion. Kick-started EPC turnkey projects across International Markets in 2007 which currently contributes > 90% of revenues across India and global projects. ► Developed a separate team to initiate business in the Electrical sector – Substations, Transmission and Distribution of Electricity. ► Initiated business with UN Organizations to explore new global markets.

Part of the 3-member team that kick-started the new division focused on trading and projects. Accomplished complete diversification from company’s existing business by undertaking trading activities in overseas markets for raw materials and engineering goods. Led all operations related to execution of contracts including responsibility for meeting targets. Oversaw joint marketing for projects with the Business Head.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS► Initiated the trading and projects business from scratch with an initial target to make division profitable from year 1. ► Established reliable supplier base from India, China, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Germany and Ukraine. Achieved high degree of success in terms of business generated and repeat orders.► Targeted difficult countries facing key challenges like buyer reliability, long gestation periods leading to pricing challenges, security risk, commercial issues like taxation, duties, logistics etc. risk related with on-site execution of projects/equipments etc. Personally led project execution/operations in high risk zones.

Led launch of Daewoo Fax Machines, PBX, Delkor SMF Batteries in India. Simultaneously handled projects related with LNG Carriers, LNG Terminals, Automotive Sector, Sheet Metal Tools and Dies, etc. Initiated exports from India of automotive components like cylinder blocks, automotive tubes etc. by tapping and mining Daewoo Corp’s vast network across the world.Attained market leadership position in Sheet Metal Tooling for Automobiles & Tractors.Products handled as Manager (Automotive, Plant & Machinery) included Tyres, Batteries, Transmission, Sheet Metal Tooling, Vessels, Plant and Machinery. Developed Distributor Network for Automotive (PbCa) SMF Batteries.Products handled as Manager (Electronics and Telecommunication) included Telecommunication Equipment (Fax Machines, PABX, EPBX, Large Switches for Landline Network etc.), CTV Tubes, Monitor Tubes, CTV kits and other electronic components.
