As the Clinical Guidelines Consultant, I was responsible for updating the DoD VA Federal guidelines on Obesity and Osteoarthritis and served as the Contracting Officer Representative for three related contracts. I implemented and sustained multiple data driven programs targeted at maximizing patient outcomes such as the 48 Hour Call Back Note integrating Ambulatory Care Sensitive Indicators with immediate 20% increase in positive patient outcome metrics and by the great work of my staff. I also worked with key leaders to increase access to care and patient satisfaction to over 14k Veterans using same day access technologies such as Message Manager, a secure messaging system enabling Veterans to leave messages asynchronously with their primary and specialty care teams.
