As a secretary at White Pine Charter School I helped kids, parents and the administration. I helped kids call home, give out bandaids, water bottles, and masks. Sometimes I helped kids who needed help sorting out conflict with others. I fielded the incoming calls from parents and called kids to the office to check out when their parents arrive. My specific administrative duties included managing daily finances, preparing deposits, putting together purchase orders, distributing incoming items, and tracking budget expenditures. Additionally, I substituted in the library as needed. Ultimately the reason I worked with White Pine Charter School was because I enjoy helping the school succeed.
