I'm an accomplished data-driven and patient-centric critical care education and compliance strategist who takes an innovations & systems-based approach to integrated quality management. For over 20 years I have been a passionate prehospital & critical care transport thought leader focused on team member growth, patient outcomes, and process improvement.Currently, I'm the Clinical Outcomes & Compliance Manger for Critical Care Transport and am responsible for the system’s education, research, compliance, reimbursement, and quality programs. I prioritize quality initiatives that demonstrate sustained improvements in patient care and reduce morbidity & mortality. This has included 30+ published IRB approved clinical trials, the development of the country's 1st CAP accredited mobile (transport) clinical laboratory, and AEMT immunization administration. In previous roles as a critical care educator, I developed high quality and real-time high-fidelity simulation based on quality metrics and professionally made needs assessments. I served in education leadership positions for volunteer, private for-profit medical transport, and non-profit hospital-based transport systems. In total I have developed over 800 hours of timely continued medical education designed to leave learners with tangible changes in their patient care and have lectured at more than 60 conferences in 6 countries. I am driven by empowering others with the skills transform lives and focus on enabling the passions and talents of individuals to foster growth. I am dedicated to developing shared visions, team member motivation, and building networks & relationships. My areas of expertise include quality & risk management, process improvement using LEAN strategies, innovative problem solving, integration, and system design. To remain engaged across our profession, I serve on multiple international advisory boards and recently led an interdisciplinary team developing the inaugural international Global Critical Care Transport Education Program Accreditation Standards. My bachelor’s degree is from Colgate University and have a Master’s in Healthcare Leadership from Western Governors University. I'm currently seeking the next step as I continue to grow as a proven medical transport servant leader.
