Responsible for developing, proving, and implementing oral care chemical product concepts against requirement of Global Business Management. Work with upper management to establish yearly objectives to meet program requirements, determine and identify needed employee skills, set employee yearly objectives, assess employee against job requirements, identify opportunities for employee training, and recommend promotions as well as terminations. Participate on product core teams representing R&D chemical research and conduct periodic project progress updates.- Member of 2 international cross function product core teams (new platforms for company)o Development of chemical options with properties uniquely designed for system.o Establish proof of principle to meet Global Business Management's requirements- Development and implementation of strategy to address quarantine hold of 100 million product units with directive to prevent delay of product launch. o Reviewed and assessed options, identified and qualified facilities capable of implementing chosen option, and coordinated treatment of product o Served as QC release for out of spec products. Product launched on time.- Establishment of cGMP pilot capabilities in Needham facility to provide support for clinical and consumer testing of chemical product concepts (new capability for Gillette).

Responsible for developing, obtaining and implementing technology to meet job requirements, design and conduct of studies, analysis of results, and program justification to upper management.

Responsible for developing program in understanding the impact of lubrication on shaving performance. Developed understanding of blade skin interface, fluid mechanics, the impact of performance polymers and friction. Implemented new technology to develop understanding and establish proof of concepts.- Established polymer performance mechanism for shaving performance.- Identified new polymer options for improved performance- Developed instrumentation which remains in use for claim support of product performance.

Hearts & Hands, Inc., a not for profit (501(c)(3)) organization of youth and adults founded to assist low income and/or disabled homeowners with basic home repairs they are beyond their physical and/or financial capabilities. - Developed documentation for incorporation and not-for-profit status, mission statement, and guidelines. - Worked with board of directors to establish goals and programs focused around mission statement. - Participated in all aspects of organization to include: home selection and qualification, home repair, fundraising, etc. - Achieved goal of one weekend work project per month and 1 week long project in July.- Worked with Montgomery and Prince Georges county code enforcement departments and Christmas in April program to identify and assist families in need.- Coordination and oversight of toy distribution in Montgomery County, Md in cooperation with the USMC Reserve Toys for Tots Program

Principal investigator responsible for overall program coordination, design and coordination of in house and field studies, and monitoring of extramural contracts. Research area included physics of noise wave propagation, bio-engineering, computer modeling of biological systems, and pulmonary and cardiac mechanics. Supervisory responsibilities included Senior Scientists from the National Research Council.- Oversight for the development of a finite element model for predicting potential for injury and incapacitation in simple and complex wave overpressure environments including design of instrumentation and generation of critical data.- Established injury threshold for human exposure in multiple environments (open field, behind armor, etc).- Coordinated and lead four 10 week field studies- Regular presentations to international community. - Cooperative research with Norwegian, Swedish, UK, and French scientists.
