Conducted over 70 phone screens to determine research participation eligibility (psychiatric history, treatment history, suicidal/homicidal risk). Administered hypnotizability scales, under the direction of Dr. Gary Elkins. This is used to measure hypnotizability to aid researchers in the investigation of potential benefits in the treatment of hot flashes. Assisted graduate students with data collection, as well as database creation and maintenance. Familiar with the evaluation of hot flashes measured with the Biolog and Bahr skin conductance monitors. Member of the team which worked to develop a clinical rating paradigm to examine the validity and reliability regarding the performance of a type of monitor that was used. Experience with the process of collecting, recording, and processing saliva samples for analysis.
