As Managing Editor, I contributed to the inception of independent literary arts magazine Superfroot, fostering a space for underrepresented and emerging creatives by curating content based on literary merit, skill, and subject matter. Through native advertising and community management, I assisted in growing our audience to 5k+ followers on Instagram and 4k+ followers on X (formerly Twitter). We amassed 200+ print orders during our inaugural reading period. In 2023, I assumed the role of Editor in Chief for Superfroot. I manage a team of visionaries, optimizing production and spearheading plans for a complete rebrand launching in early 2024 that aims to reshape the magazine’s identity in anticipation of our third issue.

I assisted in orchestrating the digital presence of Fine Woodworking Magazine, overseeing content strategy and implementing SEO best practices in collaboration with fellow editors, designers, and marketing leads.I created engaging online editorial content including versatile graphics, copy, features, blog posts, and e-letters. I contributed to single and multi camera video production, editing compelling short form and full length video content for multiple social media platforms, including YouTube and TikTok. I also planned and executed our social media editorial calendar.

With social media management and marketing group Posi Media Co., I designed and implemented thoughtful and engaging digital content strategies for 9 different brands and small businesses, most notably for bridal shop The Bachbox and web show Talking to Earthlings. I also managed Posi’s website and social media, conducting client outreach and community management.

The scope of my work as a freelance photographer and videographer encompasses diverse projects such as music videos, storytelling initiatives, event coverage (including concerts, graduations, conferences, and speeches), as well as the creation, scripting, filming, and production of original films and videos commissioned by clients. I demonstrate expertise in editing through Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.

I worked through Drupal and ServiceNow to meet client requests from Yale’s students and faculty, providing administrative support and written documentation in partnership with software vendors. I also produced and edited e-mail copy, news content, and instructional videos. By implementing an innovative organizational system and optimizing content to align with trends in technological advancement, I achieved full integration between ServiceNow’s Knowledge Base and the Yale ITS site.

I designed an established newsletter spread averaging 30-40 pages monthly, editing, proofreading, and formatting articles using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
