With QuickD we were trying to disrupt the entire deal/coupon-industry. We built a location-based mobile application for finding great deals nearby.We made a service where store-owners had total control of when and what kind of deals they wanted to start, and instead of charging a percentage for what they sold we charged a small fee for running the deal.

UNITY:Katrinebjerg is an interdisciplinary network center for IT-students (Computer Science, Information Studies, Digital Design and IT) in Aarhus

We built a deal site for local wine shops, very hungry to jump on the wave of "Groupon-alike" sites. We used 4 months to build and prepare the system, only to find out the hardship of selling to wineshops. It turned out they needed an entirely different system and for a first time, I faced the concept of customer validation.

Random Hacks of Kindness (RHoK) is all about using technology to make the world a better place by building a community of innovation.RHoK brings software engineers together with disaster relief experts to identify critical global challenges, and develop software to respond to them.The event is organized together with partner companies Google, Microsoft, Yahoo!, NASA and The World Bank.

This was the first company I created. It was a webshop selling Gillette razorblades. I founded it with two other guys. But after 3 months of growing sales, we learned that the razorblades we sold were fake.So I had to return a lot of money back to the customers and invest in buying new verified Gillette razorblades for much more. This ended up being a very expensive lesson, and we had to close down the business. But I got out of it with a fired up passion for building companies.
