-Develop and validate a mental health assessment tool in Madagascar to understand the relationship between climate change and mental distress; -Design, implement, and evaluate a program integrating mental health into primary care settings in three cities in Peru in collaboration with the National Institutes of Mental Health. -Design, implement, and evaluate the effect of a caregiving sensitivity intervention on early childhood developmental outcomes in Lima, Peru. -Determine the prevalence of mental disorders and trauma exposure in a nationally representative survey (n = 40,000). -Evaluate the impacts of maternal mental health and trauma exposure on childhood socioemotional and neuro- development in the context of a longitudinal birth cohort study (n = 5400).

SEAMHI (http://seamentalhealth.com/) aims to connect mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) researchers, practitioners, and community-based leaders in Southeast Asia to strengthen MHPSS infrastructure and capacity in the region. -Led grant-writing efforts to secure approx. $70,000 for the inaugural Southeast Asian Mental Health Conference; -Manage approximately 22 research staff and volunteers;-Lead research activities for ongoing needs assessments and landscape analyses in Southeast Asia

- Support to the EU-funded SciEarly project, including the development of a multi-country research protocol and methodology to inform the facilitation of multi-stakeholder seminar on mental health, wellbeing and school dropouts among refugees, migrants and vulnerable populations across Europe. - Supporting finalization and roll-out of the Humanitarian Leadership Academy eLearning on Adolescent Mental Health and Wellbeing and the adaptation of the course to the Türkiye and Syria earthquake response.

-Maintain a database of evidence for mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) interventions in low-and middle-income countries. -Plan the Global Evidence Summit for Global Mental Health, which will convene international leaders in government and research with partners at WHO, UNICEF, UNDPA, and others. -Consult on mental health and psychosocial support projects (MHPSS) funded by USAID. -Assist with writing papers on MHPSS policy and practice, including a brief on the intersections of MHPSS and early childhood development, to advance integration of MHPSS across USAID. -Consult on the development of USAID’s first MHPSS policy.
