Working with Design Firm on Product Development and Design• Creative Design: Developing all trend and print analysis for women’s activewear company, making all recommendations for new product line as per trend reports and market analysis.- Work directly with buy team to make best recommendations for upcoming seasons, all flat sketch designs and colors with print renderings. Using CLO 3D where necessary to illustrate execution of garments.• Technical Design: Working with vendors to make all necessary comments on any development of seasonal collections.- Working directly overseas vendors to source/develop seasonal fabrics where upon making all comments on color, print execution, and stretch variances that occur within the fabrics.- Responsible for all vendor communication of garment fittings and garment construction.- Work with vendors to source and develop new company branding (hangtags, labels, and heat transfers.)- Working in categories such as Women’s Activewear, Women’s Fire Resistant Sportswear, and Kids Leisure.

Design and development for technical workwear brand - Concept design and illustrations for new styles including fabrications, silhouettes, design details, surface design concepts. - Design and illustrate new styles for technical tees that include bonding and laser cut design elements, technical bottoms, and technical shirting. - Fabric sourcing for technical fabrics such as stretch wovens, double weave soft shell fabrics, bonded/laminated fabrics, technical knits, and fire resistant fabrics. Including fabric finishes such a varying levels of DWR, wicking, or FR treatments. - In house fabric testing for tensile strength, abrasion, water repellency, etc. - Print and pattern design: Sublimation design for all-over prints and placed graphics, yarn-dyed plaids and strips for technical wovens, poly/CDpoly/nylon design and development options for plaids. - Tech pack development for approved design concepts, including BOM, Tech sketches/construction details, spec sheets, grade rules, and feedback/revisions. - Manage all vendor communications for all fabric and style development, working with countries such as Bangladesh, Taiwan, and China.

Fabric Designer• Responsible for ensuring the seamless process for textile development from initial concept to commercialization through market analysis, textile trends, design to collection deliverables.• Work cross functionally with Design and Product Development, ensuring on time delivery and development according to the defined product creation milestones determining products are sustainable and beautiful, while having the ability to perform for our Customer. • Work directly with Design Team to create CADS and visual materials for presentations and line review meeting. • Build and maintain a quarterly digital archive of printed developments.• Leverage established color palette, helps to develop multiple color ways and prepare alternative layouts and scale for selection by merchants and design leaders. • Work through and suggests ideal artwork and graphic execution types, according to the type of art, product attributes and specific fabric requirements. • Manage sampling and prototyping for printed materials in addition to identifying and addressing key manufacturing issues. • Review and comment on fabric strike-offs and other physical product samples, for color accuracy and material execution, for all relevant product. • Assist in the creation of mill sheets and supporting art files, such as repeats and color ways, to be sent to the appropriate vendor base (fabric mills & garment factories). • Own the artwork development, from file send-out, to production approval, in a range of unique execution types, including printed yardage and artwork execution.• Oversee correspondence via email and/or video conference for all developments, in partnership with design and production, as well as vendor partners.

Production Artist• Develop production files for artwork to be printed for screen print or sewn for embroidery• Work with digitizers and screen print rippers to properly prepare art files for production• Mock up artwork to scale on garments to be approved by clients.• Work in PLM system to ensure proper timeline of artwork to ripping/digitizing teams to production.

Division of Global Brands Group• Product Development Coordinator: Men, Women, Kyds lifestyle and outerwear products• Manage all Bill of Materials and tech pack development to be send to overseas vendors.• Work with design, raw materials, and technical design teams to compile all components of garments for development and costing.• Manage all samples for assessment with design, raw materials, and tech teams.• Communicate all design and construction comments to overseas vendors.• Experience with various PLM systems (Gallery and Flex PLM) to create tech packs, sample requests, and all product information that is then shared to overseas product team.• Collaborate with fit team to make all necessary fit and construction comments to ensure proper fit for Spyder consumer.• Manage samples during sales meetings, and collaborate with sales representatives about product for the upcoming seasons.

Associate Technical Designer: Alpine Design (Outdoor Men and Kids), Trayl (Men and Women's Bike)• Working directly with overseas vendors to develop tech packs, manage all incoming samples, measure and make comments to manage fit, quality and details.• Spec analysis for grade to assess appropriate grade for better fit across all sizes.• Color assessment and lab dip analysis assuring color standards are met and all items in the line match one another. • Assess graphic quality and color to make sure it matches the line.• CAD (drawing) all call outs for technical apparel to better communicate garment construction to vendors.• Fit assessment on all garments and all samples on models to assure proper fit and construction.• Create and manage product line life-cycle in excel to track all styles, their development and progress throughout the season for Designers and Product Managers track the status of each style.

Design Support and Quality Auditor:• Working with Head Designer with all Collections:• Prepare Design Sheets and Fabric Cards to be used for collections for presentation to Manufactures for quotes and contracts.• Communicate with Product Development Team during fittings and sample measurements.• Catalog fabrics and trims.• Print and textile design using Kaledo and CS6 (Medallions, Paisleys, Floral, Geometrics, and Plaids).• Quality Control Auditing: • Measure percentage of production and compare to specifications assessing tolerance, quality of sewing, construction, embroidery, finishes, colors/prints/graphics, notions, brand hangtags/care labels and packaging. • Communicate with manufacturers about quality control production issues and resolutions.• Deconstruction of garments for evaluation of patterns.• Track production using AS200 for final release of production.• Technical Design: • Measurements and evaluations in Lectra (Gallery) for all incoming samples of Womenswear, Menswear and Childrenswear (knits, wovens, denim & accessories) assessing specs, quality of sewing, embroidery, finishes & colors.• Technical illustrations for tech packs preparing files in proper formats for printing or uploading into Gallery, preparing color cards for color matching, line lists with all manufacturing information, fabric information, final approved design with thread colors and types, hardwares, trims, finishes, prints and embroidery.
