Collaborate, coordinate, consult and conduct with local State and Federal Government officials in disaster planning and response primarily focusing on relationships with other governments, volunteer organizations, schools and hospitals.As a deputy sheriff served in the Patrol Division with special assignments as a DARE Deputy in the Core Curriculum, 2nd and 4th grade programs, Olmsted County School Liaison to Byron, Dover-Eyota and Stewartville Public Schools also for Rochester Catholic Schools and Rochester Central Lutheran Schools as well as teaching Core DARE, Jr. High DARE and Parent DARE Programs. Also a special assignment with the Rochester Emergency Response Unit (ERU). As a Sergeant served in Patrol, Training and Civil Warrants Court Security Divisions. As a Patrol Sergeant revamped the Safe and Sober Program from the Project 55 program. In Training Division oversaw the Firearms and Use of Force program including Policy changes to each. Also continued to teach DARE and oversaw the DARE program. While a Sergeant founded the Olmsted County Honor Guard. As a Captain initially assigned to lead the Patrol Division then transferred to take over the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division.As a deputy and continuing to this day a member of the Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial Association to support agencies and families after a Minnesota Police Officer has died or was killed in the line of duty. To date more than thirty line of duty funerals. Also co-founder and currently the director of the Minnesota Law Enforcement Torch Run Rochester Polar Bear Plunge and Minnesota Executive Council of the LETR.Also co-founded the Rochester/Olmsted County Law Enforcement Memorial Association. First objective is to build a Law Enforcement Memorial to honor SE Minnesota's fallen law enforcement, detention and corrections officers and deputies.

Maintain the readiness of the Minnesota LEMA (Law Enforcement Memorial Association) Honor Guard. Liaison to the LEMA Board of Directors for the Honor Guard. Coordinate Line of Duty Death planning for any officer and or Minnesota Law Enforcement Agency when an Officer is killed or dies in the Line of Duty. Director of the Minnesota LEMA Honor Guard Camp held each September at Camp Ripley, Minnesota.

Worked in the Adult Detention Center and Radio Divisions with extra duty work in the Court Services Division. Member of the Special Evacuation Team for the Detention Center.
