In my new role, I manage employees located around the world, and ensure the high quality of our content across all of Alpha's exceptional educational programs. Oversee the content development of an English Language Arts program for grades 3-5, focusing on students in the MENA region. Our new product includes print components for students and teachers, as well as a digital element. I've been on this project since its inception and have developed and implemented a full curriculum based on a new scope and sequence which aligns with CCSS, and relies on the science of reading as its pedalogical backbone. Writing and editing of fiction, nonfiction, student-facing lessons and more.

I manage both large- and small-scale projects through all stages, from inception to production. I excel at turning chaos into collaborative, motivated teams, and take pride in meeting my clients' needs and exceeding their goals. I'm comfortable working with everyone from C-level clients to creative teams of writers, editors and designers.

I write and edit nonfiction content on a variety of academic subjects (K-12) including biology, chemistry, ELA, geography and cultural studies, and primary math. Experience writing student and teacher texts, as well as assessments correlated to various state standards. I consider writing my craft, and I'm honored to put it to use inspiring life-long learners.

I exceeded sales expectations and built new account bases overseas to become the top performer for our pioneer sales force. I sold, marketed to, and managed an international (Canada, Ireland, and UK) account base with over 700 retailers and distributors for this world-class, educational toy company in excess of $2M.

GenZ was a start-up website. I worked closely with its founder to prepare it for launch. Being part of something from start to launch was a great learning experience. I loved being part of such a challenge. I was part of a wonderful team here. Together we planned and implemented the development of the nation's best-selling elementary health and science program. My responsibilities included assisting with in-house project management, managing vendors and freelance hires, researching, writing, and editing various health and science ancillary materials, and assisting in marketing plans by attending teacher forums and organizing feedback used to track teaching trends.

This position allowed me to broaden my writing horizons, in that I researched and wrote investigative business reports for high-end clients, including C-level executives in the financial sector. I also conducted research using private and public databases, as well as media and business reporting sources, to analyze the soundness of prospective business deals. The best part? Conducting telephone interviews as part of my research.
